The project involved modernizing a scientific illustration explaining the concept of a nanotechnology drug delivery device. The challenge was twofold: to make the visual more striking and attractive in order to capture attention, while aligning it perfectly with the client’s visual identity to ensure consistency with their digital communications. The illustration had to blend naturally with the existing website design, while retaining its scientific accuracy and ability to explain a complex technical concept.
Answer
I completely redesigned the figure, adopting an approach in line with current standards in scientific communication.
To do this, I created a dynamic composition that highlights the system’s multi-layered structure; developed a modern visual style with translucent textures, subtle gradients, and refined 3D processing that adds depth; and harmonized the color palette with the client’s visual identity, incorporating the brand’s specific color code (notably the signature turquoise blue for the title).
Thanks to this redesign, the figure has become a powerful strategic communication tool and reinforces the brand’s credibility. The visual now fits perfectly into the client’s digital ecosystem, creating a consistent and memorable visual experience.
